Shannon was born and raised in Mobile, AL and graduated from the University of Alabama with a journalism degree. She spent over a decade after graduation in the Midwest (Iowa and Chicago) in the higher education and tech fields before moving back to the South to be closer to family in 2022. She chose Atlanta for its big-city vibe, southern hospitality, and cultural and professional opportunities and it hasn't disappointed. She achieved her dream of joining the real estate field in February 2026. She lives in Piedmont Heights with her dog, Teddy.

Favorite Hood: Midtown for its walkability, its strong neighborhood association and community programming, and that it's home to many of our city's major artistic institutions.
