LaVista Park

Located between I-85 and Briarcliff Road, LaVista Park is a small residential pocket near Emory and the CDC. This delightful little neighborhood is made up of remodeled post-WWII bungalows and ranches, with a few angular contemporaries tucked in there too. With close proximity to the economic engine that is Emory University, LaVista Park homes start in $600s.

Centered around its namesake park, LaVista residents also have access to arthouse flicks courtesy of nearby Tara Cinemas, as well as numerous shopping centers and markets. Like neighboring Druid Hills, you’ll find lots of kosher food options thanks to the heavily Jewish community centered around the synagogues along LaVista Road.

Peaceful, yet centrally located, LaVista Park is a quick drive from the shops and MARTA access of Lindbergh, the stores at Brighton Park, and greenspaces like Morningside Nature Preserve and Elwyn John Wildlife Sanctuary. Diverse and delicious, LaVista Park is home to Hawaiian favorite Waikikie BBQ, Tex-Mex at Red Pepper Taqueria and great, affordable takeout from Ameer’s Mediterranean and Little Bangkok.
