Peachtree Hills

Think Buckhead, but with a hometown feel. Well-heeled, neighborly and unapologetically Southern, Peachtree Hills is bordered by Peachtree Creek and the bustling Peachtree Road and Piedmont Avenue. In between, Peachtree Hills’ winding streets beg you to slow down and take in the views.

And what views they are! A gateway to Buckhead living, Peachtree Creek is popular with young families looking to purchase one of its many charming 1920s bungalows, which can still be snatched up for under $750,000. A community garden, tennis courts and a playground only add to the appeal.

The neighborhood is home to the Southeast’s largest collection of luxury furnishings, a.k.a. the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center, as well as the verdant Treehouse Pub, Jalisco, Paul’s Restaurant and Kevin Rathbun’s KR Steakbar. The famous Peachtree Battle shopping center (named after a real Civil War battle) is home to Whitehall Tavern, the eclectic whimsy of Richard’s Variety Store, and an Ace Hardware that has it all. Add in the close proximity to the shops at Lindbergh and its MARTA station, and you’ll be asking, “Where do I sign?”
